Creative Writing

IN-PERSON & ZOOM

Tuesdays 10 am to 12 pm

Cost: Members $10 / Nonmembers $15   

All levels welcome, from aspiring writers to published authors. This class encourages the creative side of you, whether you write fiction, non-fiction, poetry, or short stories.  You can develop your creative writing skills through exercises, creative feedback, and encouragement. Students will also learn about editing and publishing their work.

Every week we have a prompt to start us off and then we share our writing with the group. Email info@LECtampa.org to receive the prompt for the week in advance.

The group also publishes an anthology every year.  The 2025 edition of the anthology, Creative Fire: Embers and Ashes,  is available for purchase on Amazon HERE.
